Crisis ManagementSince not everyone is an expert at using FrontPage™, we try to make our templates
easy to use. We frequently use the top and bottom shared borders, and will
occasionally use "include pages". The main body of the page is designed using a series of
nested tables. We very rarely use the left or right shared borders.
Use this page to tell about your company or
yourself. Your visitors will be more comfortable about
ordering your products if they feel like they know something about
you.
Once your site is up and running, don't forget to promote and market your site.
You can find lots of online help by doing a search on "web site promotion" in any
search engine. And don't forget to add your new web site address to all outgoing
email... and place your address on your business cards, letterhead, brochures, etc.
Designing Your Site Structure
When beginning your new web site, it is always a
good idea to sit down with pencil and paper and map out your pages.
Use this "rough draft" to help you visualize your navigation
structure and to establish the priority of some or all of your
pages. Your navigation structure is important as it guides
your visitors through your pages. A site map is always helpful
so no one gets lost along their way.
The Navigation View
FrontPage is unique in that it allows you to see
the actual structure of your web and how the pages relate to each
other. This relationship forms the basis for your link
buttons. To learn more, type in "create a navigation
structure" into the keyword area in the FrontPage help files.
